Apple focusing on to lift India manufacturing share to 25% – minister

NEW DELHI: Apple Inc needs India to account for as much as 25% of its manufacturing from about 5%-7% now, the commerce minister instructed a convention on Monday.

“Apple, one other success story,” Piyush Goyal stated. “They’re already at about 5-7% of their manufacturing in India. If I’m not mistaken, they’re focusing on to go as much as 25% of their manufacturing.
